Server Management · Miami

Your servers, always up.

Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS, Azure — we manage them all. 24/7 monitoring, automated patching, security hardening, hurricane-proof DR planning.

What server management actually covers

Every Miami business with a file server, ERP system, or database hits the same problems: patches not applied (security holes), backups not tested (data loss), no monitoring (silent failures), and DR plans that exist only on paper. We solve all four.

  • 24/7 monitoring — CPU, RAM, disk, network, services, custom application metrics. We get the alert before your users do.
  • Automated patching with rollback — Windows updates, Linux package updates, application patches. Test environment first, production second, rollback if anything breaks.
  • Backup management + testing — Veeam, Acronis, native cloud backups. We test restore quarterly. A backup you have not tested is a hope, not a backup.
  • Security hardening — CIS benchmarks, firewall rules, RDP off the public internet, MFA on every admin account. We close the holes most shops leave open.
  • Hurricane DR — Miami-specific. Off-site replication outside Florida, runbook for failover, tabletop exercise annually. When the storm hits, you keep running.
  • Capacity planning — your servers are scaling toward a cliff. We see it 6 months out and tell you to upgrade before users notice.

Platforms we manage

Windows Server (2012-2022, including AD/DC, Exchange, SQL Server). Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, Debian, Rocky). Virtualization: VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Proxmox. Cloud: AWS EC2/RDS, Azure VMs, Google Cloud Compute. Containers: Docker, Kubernetes (managed clusters preferred — EKS, AKS, GKE).

Pricing

Per-server monthly retainer, scaled to complexity:

  • Standard managed server (Windows Server or Linux, single-purpose): monthly retainer
  • Application server (SQL, Exchange, ERP, custom app): monthly retainer
  • Virtualization host (ESXi or Hyper-V cluster node): monthly retainer
  • Cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP): scoped per workload, typically a monthly retainer
  • No contract. Cancel any month. We are confident enough in the work that we do not lock you in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take over an existing server, or do we need to start from scratch?
Takeover. About 80% of new clients have an existing server somewhere — usually inherited from a previous IT person who quit, retired, or was let go. We audit current state, document everything (most have no documentation), patch up immediate vulnerabilities, then move into steady-state monitoring. Onboarding takes 5-10 business days.
What is your response time for critical issues?
Server down / data loss in progress: response within 15 minutes, 24/7. Server degraded / performance: response within 1 hour during business hours, 4 hours overnight. Routine issues: response within 1 business day. All SLAs in writing, all measured monthly with reporting.
What if our server hardware fails physically?
Standard contract: we coordinate replacement, restore from backup, get you running on new hardware within 24-48 hours. With our hot-spare add-on (monthly retainer per server), we keep a pre-configured spare in the data center and swap within 2 hours. For mission-critical (e.g., medical or financial), we recommend cloud failover (separate quote) for sub-30-minute recovery.
